Yes. On macOS and Windows the overlay is excluded from screen capture and recording at the operating-system level. When you share your screen or the call is recorded, the panel simply isn't in the frame — the interviewer sees a clean desktop.

Yes. Press ⌘⇧S (Ctrl+Shift+S on Windows) and OfferShark reads the problem on your screen and streams an approach, code, and complexity analysis. It works on whatever is on screen — a browser coding pad, a shared doc, or a slide.
That's the point. OfferShark is tuned per role: a DCF walkthrough, a portfolio critique, a market-sizing case, and a system-design question are all first-class. The prompt knows your field's language and rubric.
Yes — Windows 10 (version 2004) or later, currently in beta. The installer is digitally signed by TIKTAALIK AI LABS INC., so you won't see an “unknown publisher” warning. If SmartScreen still shows a prompt while our new signature builds reputation, choose More info → Run anyway.
No. OfferShark only listens — it never speaks, plays audio, or touches your mic. The answer appears silently on your screen.
Audio is streamed to Deepgram and is not stored by OfferShark. Text transcripts and AI questions and answers from signed-in sessions are retained for up to 30 days to improve product quality. If you choose to save an interview to your account, its transcript and generated reports remain available for review. Read our privacy policy →
Yes. Discovery calls, board reviews, cross-functional meetings, live demos — anywhere a single answer can change the outcome and the topic may not be yours.
Live transcription works for interviews in English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, Japanese, Hindi, and Russian — even when the conversation switches between them. Chinese-language interviews aren't supported yet. Answer hints and debriefs are written in English or Chinese (set in the app), so you can read them in whichever you think faster in.
